Reflecting on the six-day North Vietnam Journey with a group of travelers from the Philippines, I have come to cherish my role as a tour guide even more. The trip was far more than sightseeing. We truly immersed ourselves in the local life and shared the excitement of discovering this region. Here are the places we visited and stayed:
Ha Long Bay

Cruising through the breathtaking seascape of Ha Long Bay, passing its iconic limestone formations, exploring the magnificent Sung Sot Cave, and relaxing with a refreshing swim at Titop Island were undoubtedly among the highlights of our journey. Surrounded by nature’s wonders at every turn, we experienced the timeless beauty that has earned Ha Long Bay its reputation as one of Vietnam’s most treasured destinations.
Sapa

The adventure in Sapa was a journey filled with wonderful discoveries and experiences. From standing amidst a sea of clouds atop Fansipan—the “Roof of Indochina”—and walking across the majestic Rong May glass bridge, to exploring the picturesque Cat Cat Village, capturing joyful moments at the Moana check-in spot, and immersing ourselves in the bustling atmosphere of Sa Pa Market, we truly experienced the diverse beauty of this charming mountain town. It was a delight to witness these moments and share the beauty, culture, and spirit of Sa Pa with the entire group.
Hanoi

Our final day unfolded at a relaxed pace, beginning with a scenic walk around West Lake and a visit to the serene Tran Quoc Pagoda, a treasured symbol of Hanoi’s rich Buddhist heritage. Guests then enjoyed time exploring Lotte Mall, one of the city’s largest shopping centers, before gathering for a sumptuous Vietnamese buffet at Sen Tay Ho. It was a fitting conclusion to a journey filled with unforgettable experiences, cultural discoveries, and lasting memories.
Thank you for allowing me to accompany and guide you as you explored my homeland. Wherever your future travels may take you, I hope that a piece of North Vietnam Journey will forever remain in your hearts.
