World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay
The bay is situated in the Northeast region of Vietnam. There are thousands of islands and islets which form amazing shapes. The bay also consists of many stunning caves and lagoons you can admire here. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Sites twice (in 1994 for its aesthetic value, and in 2000 for its geological value), Ha Long Bay is one of the most famous destinations in Vietnam.
Note: There are 2 neighboring bays which have similar geographical and geomorphological formations, but less touristy. These bay ares are called Lan Ha and Bai Tu Long. They are considered extensions of Ha Long Bay
