Your Ninh Binh excursion departs from Hanoi. You’ll be picked up from your hotel at 8 am for the drive to Ninh Binh, which takes just over two hours. Upon arrival, we’ll stop at Hoa Lu, once the ancient capital of Vietnam, where your guide will lead you through two royal temples dating back to the 11th century.
Afterwards, you can climb to the top of Ma Yen mountain for a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. From there, we’ll continue on to Tam Coc for lunch.

Following lunch at a local restaurant, you’ll board a traditional rowing boat for a two-hour trip along the river in Tam Coc, taking in scenic views of rice paddies, limestone karsts, and natural cave tunnels.
Afterwards, hop on a bike for a guided cycling tour through the peaceful countryside, stopping along the way at notable sites such as Thai Vi Temple and Bich Dong Pagoda. You’ll return to Hanoi in the late afternoon.
